There's no team and no ticket system — it's me, Karen.

What you're buying
Every product on this site is a digital publication: an ebook, journal or workbook, supplied as a PDF file.
Nothing is posted to you. There's no packaging, no shipping cost, no customs, no tracking number and no waiting — wherever in the world you are, the experience is identical.
When you buy, you get a personal licence to read and use the book. That means you can:

What I'd ask you not to do: resell it, post the file publicly, drop it into a group chat, repackage it, or teach its contents as your own paid course. Small books like these live or die on that. If you'd like to use one with a class, a group or a clinic, just ask — the answer is usually yes, and I'd much rather say yes than find out afterwards.
How you'll get it
The moment your payment goes through, two things happen: a download link appears on screen, and the same link lands in your inbox. Most people have the book open within a minute.
The file is a PDF, which opens on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, iPad, Kindle and most e-readers, with nothing to install and no account to create.
Your link stays live for 30 days and allows 5 downloads. Save the file somewhere you'll find it again — your phone's Files or Books app, or your own cloud drive.
If the email doesn't arrive, it's almost always one of three things, in this order: check your spam or promotions folder; check the address you typed at checkout; wait ten minutes. Still nothing? Email me with the name you used and I'll send it over personally.
If you lose the file later, email me. I'll re-send it. No charge, no lecture.
What things cost
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), with an approximate Singapore dollar figure alongside so you can see roughly what you're spending. The USD figure is the one you're charged. Your bank converts at its own rate on the day and may add a small foreign-transaction fee — that part is between you and your bank.
One payment, once. There is no subscription anywhere on this site, no recurring charge and no second payment.
Prices include / exclude any applicable GST or local tax. Where a tax applies, it's shown before you confirm.
Sale prices always state their end date. When the offer ends, the everyday price applies. I don't run a "sale" that quietly never finishes.

Payment is handled by PAYMENT PROCESSOR. Your full card details are never seen by, or stored on, this site.
If it's not for you
That's the whole process. No form, no explaining yourself, no proving you read it, no awkwardness. Just email emberandessencelife@gmail.com from the address you bought with.
Refunds are issued within 5 working days. Your bank then takes another 3–10 days to show it, which is their timetable, not mine.
You keep the file. I'm not going to pretend I can reach into your phone and take it back, and I wouldn't want to. If something in it helps you on the way out, good.
One limit: this is a genuine promise, not a lending library. Repeated buying and refunding across titles may mean I decline future refunds — but I'll always tell you rather than quietly ignore you.
This promise sits on top of any rights you have under Singapore consumer law or the law where you live. It doesn't replace them.
Email within 30 days of buying and you get every cent back.
Your privacy, briefly
I collect the least I can get away with: your name, your email address, and what you bought. That's it.
I use it to deliver your book, answer you, keep the accounting records I'm legally required to keep, and — only if you ticked the box — send you occasional letters.
I never sell, rent or trade your data. Not for any amount, not to anyone.
Buying a book doesn't sign you up for anything. Marketing emails only go to people who asked, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately.
The services that make this shop work see only what they need: PAYMENT PROCESSOR to take payment, EMAIL TOOL to send your book, and Wix, which the site is built on. Some are based outside Singapore, so your data may be stored overseas under their own protections.
You can ask me at any time to show you what I hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to me and I'll act within 30 days. No charge, no need to explain why.
Order records are kept 7 years because tax rules require it. Everything else goes when you ask.
This shop is for adults, and I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep your basket and checkout working, and to count visitors. It does not follow you around the internet. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the shop will still work, though the basket may get forgetful.

The legal footing
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction. I take real care with what I publish, but to the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything connected with a purchase is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
